Frequently asked questions

How do I buy a stone?

Every purchase starts with a conversation. Open the stone you like and press Reserve this stone. That opens WhatsApp with the details already filled in, and we take it from there: availability, price, payment and delivery, all agreed directly with us.

Are your stones certified?

Yes. Each stone is examined by an independent gemmological laboratory. Sign in to your account and you can open the report from the stone’s page.

Where do your stones come from?

Our family has worked with Burmese gemstones for three generations, beginning in Mogok in 1973. Most of our stones come from Myanmar, and the origin is stated on each stone’s page along with its report.

Can you find a stone that is not on the site?

Yes, that is often the best way to work with us. Tell us the type, colour, origin and budget through our request form and we will look for it at the source. The best stones never make it online.

How do auctions work?

Sign in and share your WhatsApp number to register as a bidder. We verify new bidders before their first bid. Once bidding is enabled you can bid on any live lot, and if you win we confirm payment and delivery with you directly.

Do you make jewellery?

Yes. We take a small number of bespoke commissions each year. Read how it works on our bespoke page.

How is my purchase delivered?

Every delivery is arranged personally, insured and tracked. See shipping and returns for details.
